I began my dance journey at a very young age, starting at Siudy Quintero's Dance School. Due to my heritage, Flamenco and Belly Dance have always been my passions. I honed my skills by training at various renowned schools in Venezuela, including Pasión Flamenca, Ángeles de Luz, Vidance, and Tatiana Reyna Dance Academy.

Rebecca Rivero

I started dancing under the training of the great Flamenco Dancer Tatiana Reyna. I grew under her incredible talent and generosity, which I absorbed to the max. When I was 16 years old, I became the instructor to her three-branched school and later the first dancer and artistic director.

Mariana Liscano

BALLET & CONTEMPORARY INSTRUCTOR

I started dancing at the age of 5 in “Danzaluz” Contemporary Dance School in Maracaibo- Venezuela. At 9 years old I started participating in many arts festivals and international dancers’ workshops. In 2010 I dedicated my instruction solely to Classical at Grazyna Yeropunov Ballet School. In 2011 I was promoted to Grayzna Yeropunov Dance Company named “Ballet de Cámara of Zulia” - . In the same year I started my career as an instructor until today which I continue here in Miami at Gitanillas Dance Studio

Leticia Perera

FLAMENCO

I began my dance journey at a very young age, starting at Siudy Quintero's Dance School. Due to my heritage, Flamenco and Belly Dance have always been my passions. I also had the privilege of joining "Las Canelas Dance Company" under the direction of Gabriela Reyes, dancing for "La Bronce Dance Company" under Deiweiff Stephenson. I continued my journey in Belly Dancing by performing with the "Malikat al Raks" dance company.
More recently, in 2021 and 2022, I was invited by Carolina Lizarraga to be part of her beautiful musical and join the America Viva company. Reunited with my dear friend and fellow dancer, Rebecca Rivero, Gitanillas was created in 2014, marking our 10-year anniversary in 2024, to make our dream of GITANILLAS DANCE STUDIO a reality.

Daniela Hernández

HIP HOP & FLAMENCO

I started my dance journey early, joining my very first ballet class at the age of just 2, marking the beginning of an incredible adventure. Over the years, I trained in various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, ballroom, and, my more professional focus, hip-hop and flamenco. I also had the privilege of being a part of the competitive side of dance as a member of my school's dance team, The Sapphires, for two consecutive years. When I was around 8 years old, I joined Gitanillas dance studio, which has since become like a second family to me. I owe a significant part of my growth in flamenco to my amazing instructors, Rebecca Rivero and Huri Salamanques.

Virginia Blanco

HIP HOP

Since I can remember, dance has been a part of my life. Thanks to my parents, I was introduced to ballet at the young age of 3. Dance is the only thing that has ever captured my attention and made me feel so happy and alive while doing it. I am competitively trained in the styles of Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballroom, and Ballet. Being a part of the competitive dance scene, I have had the opportunity to win several Regional and National dance competitions, receive scholarships, and receive invitations to dance programs. I've been competing in dance since the age of 9 and have continued to grow over the years. This year, I had the great opportunity to join the Sapphires Dance Team, which is the school's dance team.
